Food & Wine Senior Wine Editor Ray Isle included Chateau Montelena Potter Valley Riesling 2019 in its annual Holiday Issue. The wine is recommended as an ideal pairing to enjoy with wash-rind blue cheese.
Isle notes, “after 2018, when Montelena couldn’t make any Riesling due to smoke, the 2019 is an electric comeback, its lemon-peach fruit lifted by bright acidity.”
